Team 91 Northside Announces Winter Box Lacrosse Training!

We are proud to announce our Team 91 Northside Box Winter training program. This will be our most intensive box training curriculum to date, and we are excited to help our players learn how to play box lacrosse, evolve their technical and tactical skills, and build toward competitive teams that will compete against local, national, and eventually international competition. In addition to our experienced coaches, we will also bring in guest professional coaches to help implement our box curriculum. 91 Northside is open to players from all clubs and demographic areas.

Coaches — In addition to Coach LaHoda, we will bring in guest coaches from the NLL and other experienced box coaches. More coaches TBA!

Team 91 Northside Box will operate through three main evolution systems:

  1. CQ/Box Training — Close Quarters Training will focus on increasing skill development by maximizing reps, pace, 2-man/3-man systems, and field awareness/IQ. CQ training will layer fundamental and advanced skills in an environment where players learn to master decision making, how to initiate/leverage contact, and master new skills and movement patterns. CQ training is recommended for field and box players of all positions. Winter training will include 8 high-intensity sessions.
  2. Box Travel Teams — The goal will be to have box teams formed through our 91 Northside training sessions. Tournament programming will start in the Summer of 2027.
  3. Pro Player Clinics — We will be bringing out some of the best players in box lacrosse to run additional clinics and skill sessions.

  • 2033–2031: 7:30 – 9:00 PM

February 2027: 2, 9
